Changes are Coming

Change is inevitable. Self awareness, self acceptance, and taking action will bring about the changes you desire.~ Adalia

Changes are inevitable – whether you want them or not, they’re going to come.

If your life is not a reflection of what you have envisioned – take an honest look at what’s going on in your life: your mind, body, spirit and your finances.  It’s called becoming self aware.

self-a·ware (slf-wâr) adj.

Aware of oneself, including one’s traits, feelings, and behaviors.

But there are two more key ingredients that will help you to bring about change: self acceptance and taking action are the next key ingredients in your formula for change.

take action -  to start doing something:

self acceptance noun – an acceptance of yourself as you are, warts and all

Self awareness, self acceptance and taking action will put you in the driver’s seat for change.

Sometimes we walk around with blinders and numb ourselves to our experiences. Taking off your blinders is the beginning to becoming self aware. Self Awareness helps you to look into the mirror of your life without numbing your feelings. It frees you … taking you from the shadows into the light.

How to remove your blinders

Give yourself permission to be honest with your self.

Allow yourself to accept your truth in all areas of your life.

Don’t ask why you did this or that. Or why you’re here instead of there.

Ask instead, “how can I experience what I’ve envisioned.”

Don’t judge.

Permit yourself  to take action to change the things YOU want to change.

If you struggle to change, get a coach or mentor.

Embrace your changes.

Conclusion

We spring clean our homes. We take our cars in for maintenance. But most of us do not take time to assess our lives. Put the formula for change in your toolkit for life.

If you’re happy with all areas of your life, there’s no need to change. Keep in mind that nothing stays the same. Changes are coming. Don’t allow yourself to get in a rut. Don’t allow complacency to become your friend. Be present and always perfecting your potential.

At the center of your being
you have the answer;
you know who you are
and you know what you want.
