I think this one flew under the radar.
Did you know that President Barack Obama, in 2010, declared November 19th as National Entrepreneurs’ Day?
This idea was the brain child of Siamak Taghaddos and David Hauser, founders of grasshopper, chargify, popsurvey. They’re passionate about entrepreneurship and so am I.
In May of 2010 David and Siamak started a petition to the president to establish a National Entrepreneurs’ Day. They gathered thousands of signatures and 6 months later National Entrepreneurs’ Day was born. They had a thought, took inspired action and everything aligned for them to achieve their results.
Simple Formula: thought + action = results
I became aware of Siamak and David through their video Entrepreneurs Can Change the World. It was created to inspire and motivate established and up and coming entrepreneurs that anything and everything is possible.
This is one of my favorite videos on YouTube and I’m glad I became aware of it. I hope it will inspire you to keep climbing your Entrepreneurial Mount Everest until you get to the top.

I believe that every entrepreneur has an opportunity to leave a positive legacy in the community in which they live, work and serve. Thank you my #1 Fan. David’s and Siamak accomplishments re-affirms what I already know anything and everything is possible. However, I get a boost of optimism from other people’s accomplishment.
Siamak and David gave me a boost of optimism. I know and accept that with determination and persistence anything and everything becomes possible but when someone does it … I go yeah! And it gives me an inspirational injection.
