“You string some letters together, and you make a word. You string some words together, and you make a sentence, then a paragraph, then a chapter. Words have power.”
Chloe Neill

I’m going to share a video with you that caused me to reflect on the power of words.

Do you remember when you were growing up shouting “sticks and stones can break my bones but words can’t hurt me” to other children? I do, my sisters and I would shout this nursery rhyme to each other to deflect the hurtful words we were playfully shouting back and forth.

Even though we were playing and having fun, this nursery rhyme was indirectly programming us, on a subconscious level, to deflect the influence of negative words.

Taming your mind at an early age puts you in the driver’s seat of your life. When you’re an adult it will be easy for you to choose  what influence or impact negative or positive words will have on your life.

Words are powerful.
They can heal.
They can hurt.
They can change a life.
They can change the world. ~ Adalia

Here’s the video that shows how words can be used to influence positive behavior.
