When it comes to success and living the life you want to live personally and professionally there is no greater enemy than FEAR (False Emotion Affecting Reality).
The fear of failure is one of the more popular fears that’s linked to those who lack the confidence to spread their wings and fly.
But is it always the fear of failure or is it something else?
Over the years of helping others to shift their thinking to become empowered, I’ve discovered that there are five fears that are bundled with the Fear of Failure
In my next five blog posts I will be discussing these five fears.
Fear of being judged
Is the fear of being judged holding you back from being authentic? Are you afraid to speak your truth, or taking action for your wildest dreams because of what others will think or say about you?
It isn’t just the unsuccessful who are held hostage this fear. Some successful people are susceptible to this fear as well. It keeps them from reaching their next level of success. Their imagination run wild and they hear negative words similar to these:
Success has gone to your head.
Why are you doing that?
You think you’re better than other people.
You’re going to fail.
Haven’t you made enough money?
You’re out of your mind.
That is such a stupid thing for you to do when you’re already successful.
You’ll never be happy.
Make up your mind, you’re too indecisive.
Or other discouraging remarks.

Those Who Mind Don’t Matter
and Those Who Matter Don’t Mind.”

How to let go of the fear of being judged.
If you find yourself gripped the fear of being judged, ponder this: what you experience inwardly you project outwardly. What you fear you attract. With that in mind reflect again, are you sure you’re afraid of being judged, or are you feeling insecure?
It’s not about what others think or do, it’s all about YOU.
When it’s all said and done, you’re judging you. You can’t change anyone but yourself. Focus on what you want instead of what you don’t want. Build your self-confidence and your self-esteem. Project what you want others to see, of course, no matter what you do; there will always be those who will never get you.
Your attitude determines your altitude.
With your attitude of confidence and high self-worth, you’ll make decisions without worrying about being judged. Favorable light will shine on you, but you’ll soon discover you don’t need it for validation.
It’s a wrap
Fears of all kind are the biggest obstacles to success. In my next four consecutive posts I will address four of these fears.

In the mean time, here’s a really cool video, Marie Forleo, from Michelle Shaeffer’s blog that shares valuable information on how to get over being judged.
