Self-awareness makes it easy for you to make life-changing decisions that are in alignment with your core values.
You can’t map your course if you don’t know where you are
Just imagine if you called for a taxi but you couldn’t tell the driver where to pick you up, he would not take you seriously and disconnect the phone.
If you don’t know where you are, in terms of creating the vision you have for your life, you won’t be able to create your blueprint.
Self awareness is the beginning of mastering yourself ~ Adalia
Self-awareness comes from within not without
You need to tune into you and become mindful. It’s like learning to ride a bike, first you used training wheels and paid close attention to your movements. When you fell, you didn’t give up, you got up and continued practicing. Finally, there came a time when you said goodbye to your training wheels. Riding your bike without training wheels became a new habit.
When you being to make self-awareness an important part of your day, just like learning to ride a bike, it will take time and patience. Don’t give up if one day you forget to be mindful. Eventually, like riding your bike, awareness will become a new empowering habit.
Start by focusing on your thoughts and your emotions and how you react to them. How do people receive and react to you. Get pen and paper, draw two columns, in one column write down where you are for your personal and professional life. In the other column write down where you would like to be.
Now all that is left for you to do is create an effective action of plan to achieve these changes.

Additional tools for making self-awareness into a habit
Any tool that helps you to be mindful can be used to make self-awareness a habit: yoga, meditation, hypnosis, journaling, or tai chi.
Getting away from routine will also help you to develop self-awareness. For example: Do you take the same route home every day? If so, am sure you’ve noticed that sometimes you arrive home without the awareness of how you got there.
Change your route, your mind will have to become accustomed to the new route, which in turn will facilitate your intention to make self-awareness a new habit.
Change as many of your daily routine as possible.
It’s a wrap
