So many heart-centered, soul-centered healer/teacher-types are in business for themselves. I know because I’m one of them! Having had my own healing, coaching and mentoring practices for the past ten years, I eventually began narrowing my focus and working in one area of expertise in which I shine – and that is supporting healers/teachers like me in opening to your abundance – your love, joy, and money – in your soul-centered biz.

I became passionate about this subject because what I found is that, although heart-centered healers and coaches desire to make a difference and help others, there has been one ingredient that’s sorely lacking in their own lives – and that is self-love. A lack of self-love leads to low self-esteem and low confidence, which will only hurt your business.

The old way, or old paradigm, of being a healer had come from a place of being wounded, getting over it, and then helping others to do the same. But as we would get over our emotional and energetic wounds, we still were not 100% well-versed and well-practiced in the art of self-love. Self-love is not only the single most important aspect in opening to our abundance, but is an important tool in learning fill our own cups first, so that we may have enough energy to be of true, lasting service to others.

 So my question for you is: Do you love yourself?

Here is a self-love exercise that you can practice every day. It will soon become automatic and you will be feeling energized and amazing and ready to jump into your biz in total abundance!

Self-Love and Appreciation Exercise

Sit comfortably and relax your body.

Take a few deep breaths, inhaling slowing through the nose, and out through the mouth.

Focus your attention on the energy in and around your body. In your “mind’s eye,” fill your vision with the energy of love and appreciation for your body and all that it does for you. Even if you have ailments of any kind – know that your body is supporting your soul and spirit here on earth as best it knows how, and fill your heart with love for your amazing body.

As you bring love and appreciation to your vision, focus your attention at the feet, then bring it up to the ankles.

Scan up your calves and your knees, your thighs, pelvis, lower back, belly and hips.

All the while sending love and appreciation to each part of your body.

Remember to breathe.

Continue scanning up your torso and mid-back, up your shoulder blades, your chest, shoulders, neck and throat.

Send love down your arms, elbows, wrists, hands, palms and fingers.

Send love up to your ears, your jawbone, your chin, face and head.

Send love up through the top of your head, allowing it to cascade and flow out into your energy field, flowing back down around your body in a wonderful, warm, hug of love energy, surrounding all of you.

Take a few deep breaths, come back to the room, stretch, and smile.

Repeat daily.
