Educate-yourself

In my previous post my emphasis was on how education can help you with your business success. My philosophy for life  is balanced living, therefore, it’s important for you to know the benefits of educating yourself for a healthy mind, body, spirit and money connection. Education reveals the tools you need to create the live you love.

Let’s talk Education:

For most of us, when we think of education, thoughts of a structured setting, come to mind. Where teachers, professors, instructors and others, share their knowledge and experience with their hungry students. Be it kindergarten, high school or places of higher learning.

Education is not only about going to school or conventional places of learning.

It’s about:

  1. Being Curious:  Curiosity is a strong desire to know.  Instead of moving through life, living, being, in a robotic fashion, why not educates yourself by becoming curious about yourself and your world. Children are innately curious, until an adult suppresses or kills it. Adults on the other hand are to busy to be curious. Curiosity killed the cat, they say but what was the cat curious about? Let us re-frame that proverb and applaud the cat for being curious – for taking a risk. A successful life requires some level of risk taking. And it has been said that curiosity is the mark of geniuses. Imitate the geniuses – massage your mind with a big dose of curiosity and open yourself to new worlds and new possibilities for your successful abundant life. Clarence Birdseye hit the nail on the head when she made this statement – Go around asking a lot of dam fool questions and taking chances. Only through curiosity can we discover opportunities, and only by gambling can we take advantage of them.” –
  2. Education is about exploration:  Curiosity opens the doorway for you to begin to explore. You do not have to fly, drive, or sail to explore. You can explore by reading books and paying attention to your everyday world and the people you encounter. Nurture your spirit and take quite time to explore the core YOU. This can be done through meditation, yoga, or whatever modality fits your psyche. Exploration reveals what has been overlooked. It allows you to become intimate with one of the most important people in the world – YOU. It leads to the discovery of new ideas. Ideas that can be used to transform your life and the world at large.
  3. Education is about asking questions:  A wise person made this thought stimulating statement  “you don’t know what you don’t know.” That is why you should not be afraid to ask questions. As a child you were relentless with your questions. You received one answer and it was followed by another and another. Adults are afraid to ask questions because it is not cool and they do not want to appear ignorant. Be as relentless as a child and ask lots of questions. I do not believe that there are more questions than answers. Every question has its opposite – an answer – it is the law of polarity. Albert Einstein imparted these words of wisdom “The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing.”
  4. Exploration leads to the discovery of new prosperity tools. New way of communicating and connecting with you global neighbors. These discoveries are as limitless as your ability to be curious.

Therefore, I implore you to begin today, to become the contagiously curious, imaginative, creative explorer, who asks an abundance of questions for greater understanding and knowledge of yourself and the world.

Education is life long learning. It will bring you enlightenment and a new level of awareness that will allow you to live the life you love and education will give you tools, to help others to experience the same.
