Introverts are powerful

Are you an introvert? I am – however, I don’t believe that introverts are more powerful than extroverts or anyone else BUT …

In a culture where being social and outgoing are prized above all else, it can be difficult, even shameful, to be an introvert. But, as Susan Cain argues in this passionate talk, introverts bring extraordinary talents and abilities to the world, and should be encouraged and celebrated. (excerpt ted.com)

Listen to this inspirational talk by Susan Cain at Ted.com and share your welcomed thoughts.

When I was growing up my dad labeled me as “the shy one.” I wore the badge until as a young adult I realized I wasn’t shy, I was an introvert.  I love been an introvert but I also enjoy those moments when I express that  part of me that’s an extrovert.

Whether you’re an introvert, extrovert or some thing else – don’t apologize for being  who you are. Be the  authentic YOU and never limit your potential because of a “label.” And never look down on anyone who isn’t like you. Everyone is remarkable in his or her own way 🙂
